Tech Alpharetta, the first organization of its kind in Georgia, was established in 2012 by the City of Alpharetta to promote the growth and development of the technology industry in Alpharetta. Tech Alpharetta today is a 501c(6) nonprofit whose mission is to help grow technology and innovation in the City of Alpharetta. Led by CEO Karen Cashion and the organization’s strategic board, which includes C-suite and senior leaders from area tech companies both large and small, along with City leaders, business, and community leaders, Tech Alpharetta helps to:  recruit and retain tech companies; grow new tech startups and innovation; create jobs; and grow the next generation of skilled tech workforce for the many employers in the Alpharetta and north metro region.

There are nearly 700 tech companies located in the City of Alpharetta today. Through its partnership with the City, its Board, its renowned startup incubator, and its full schedule of thought leadership and networking programs for area tech executives, Tech Alpharetta has directly contributed to Alpharetta’s transformation into a thriving tech hub.
