Farmers Market
The Downtown Alpharetta Farmers Market takes place on Saturday mornings from April through November. Visitors can browse a vibrant selection of fresh produce, natural meats, and garden-grown flowers and herbs. The market also features a variety of handcrafted edible goods, including delicious desserts, artisan breads, local raw honey, homemade sauces, jellies, and even soaps, all made by passionate local makers.
Taste of Alpharetta
Taste of Alpharetta is a beloved annual celebration of the city’s vibrant culinary scene, transforming downtown into a flavorful showcase of over 60 local restaurants. Rain or shine, guests enjoy a dynamic mix of dining events, cooking demos, tasting tents, and chef collaborations, sampling everything from elevated Southern fare and authentic Korean BBQ to pillow-soft masa tacos and hand-dipped cake donuts.
Wire & Wood Songwriters Festival
Alpharetta’s Wire & Wood Songwriters Festival brings nationally and locally acclaimed musicians to the heart of the city to perform and share the stories behind their songs. Celebrating original work by regional artists, the festival highlights the depth and diversity of the music community while raising awareness of its cultural importance. As part of Alpharetta’s initiative to become “Alpharetta Music City,” Wire & Wood plays a key role in enriching the city’s vibrant musical landscape.
Celebrating the Season
Alpharetta celebrates the holidays in unforgettable style, from whimsical scarecrow displays to magical tree lighting ceremonies. Starting October 8, Downtown Alpharetta comes alive with over 150 uniquely crafted scarecrows, created by local schools, non-profits, families, neighborhoods, and businesses. In mid October, Boo Bash invites families to enjoy a festive evening filled with costumes, dancing, carnival games, and more. The season culminates in late November with the City’s beloved Season of Celebration, featuring live music, snow flurries, a visit from Santa, and a dazzling tree lighting ceremony.
