Alpharetta Tech Company Featured at ITS World Congress

The Technology City of the South continues to lead the way in innovation.

Alpharetta-based Infrastructure Automotive Technology Laboratory (iATL) was prominently featured during the ITS World Congress 2025 conference, held in Atlanta.

The ITS World Congress brings together global leaders from the public and private transportation sectors to explore emerging technologies that are shaping the future of smarter, safer, and more sustainable mobility. This year’s event included off-site Tech Tours, spotlighting Georgia’s cutting-edge transportation companies.

One of the standout tours was hosted by the iATL, a 4,400-square-foot engineering facility dedicated to testing connected vehicle technologies. Since opening in 2020, iATL has focused on real-world interactions between infrastructure, vehicles, and vulnerable road users.

The tour was attended by Alpharetta Mayor Jim Gilvin, who praised the iATL’s role in improving emergency response times and advancing intelligent transportation systems.

Innovative companies like the iATL continue to elevate the City of Alpharetta’s reputation as a thriving hub for technological advancement and smart solutions. The city’s commitment to fostering high-tech infrastructure makes it a magnet for forward-thinking companies and public-private partnerships.
