Ribbon Cuttings
The City of Alpharetta values and supports the success of new and expanding businesses in our community. Businesses located in the City of Alpharetta that hold a valid business license may request the attendance of the Mayor at their ribbon-cutting ceremony through the form below. While the City will make every effort to accommodate these requests, attendance will depend upon the Mayor’s availability and may be subject to change in the event of an emergency or other pressing City matter. Please specify the timing of any ceremonies in your request to allow us to best accommodate you.
The City of Alpharetta does not coordinate ribbon cuttings or provide supplies. If a business needs assistance planning a ribbon-cutting event, it may consider reaching out to the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce. GNFCC maintains dedicated programs to help small businesses in the City of Alpharetta coordinate and promote their ribbon-cutting events to the business community and the public, offering valuable resources and expanded reach.
