The Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce (GNFCC) has announced the formation of the Alpharetta Business Council (ABC), a strategic initiative to enhance business support in the City of Alpharetta.
The move follows the dissolution of the Alpharetta Chamber of Commerce and is designed to streamline resources while reducing financial and operational redundancies for local businesses.
A five-star accredited chamber, the GNFCC is committed to growing businesses, developing talent, and driving regional prosperity across North Fulton, including the City of Alpharetta. Its members benefit from a wide range of services, including marketing and networking opportunities, professional development programs, and access to key business resources.
As of July 1, 2025, all current Alpharetta Chamber members became full members of the Greater North Fulton Chamber. In addition, those members, along with any GNFCC member holding a City of Alpharetta business license, will automatically be enrolled in the Alpharetta Business Council. Along with GNFCC benefits, ABC Members will gain access to exclusive programming and events designed specifically for the Alpharetta business community.
City of Alpharetta Mayor Jim Gilvin expressed strong support for the initiative, stating:
“We’re excited about the formation of the Alpharetta Business Council and the opportunity to work within the GNFCC to grow our local economy. This partnership ensures that Alpharetta businesses continue to thrive with the dedicated support and leadership they deserve.”
The Alpharetta Business Council is modeled after the success of the Milton Business Council, launched in 2020 under the GNFCC umbrella. Like its predecessor, the ABC will provide Alpharetta businesses with high-quality chamber services while preserving the local culture of Alpharetta’s business community – truly offering the best of both worlds.
Kali Boatright, President and CEO of GNFCC, added:
“This is a significant step forward for the Alpharetta business community. The new Alpharetta Business Council will ensure that Alpharetta’s unique identity and business culture are preserved, while also giving members access to the full suite of benefits and resources offered by a 5-Star Accredited Chamber.”
From small businesses to industry leaders, the ABC will play an important role in advancing the City of Alpharetta’s pro-business environment and fostering opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and talent development across all sectors.
