Alpharetta, GA – The City of Alpharetta Economic Development Department has officially launched Connected Alpharetta, a strategic marketing initiative designed to promote Alpharetta as a premier destination for business investment and top talent. The initiative supports the city’s ongoing efforts to attract new companies and assist expanding businesses, further strengthening Alpharetta’s robust and diverse economy.
Built upon the City of Alpharetta’s official tagline, Georgia’s Connected City, the Connected Alpharetta brand highlights the city’s unique position at the intersection of community, innovation, and access to markets. The branding includes the new Connected Alpharetta logo and design elements as well as a cohesive economic development messaging platform that reinforces Alpharetta’s small-town charm with high-end appeal, its role as a thriving innovation hub with a highly educated workforce and premier office market, and its connectivity to Metro Atlanta and the global economy.

Connected Alpharetta is being introduced through a newly branded website, ConnectedAlpharetta.com, along with a coordinated presence across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X. The initiative also includes a new Community Guide brochure and a monthly newsletter designed to educate and inform businesses, site selectors, and commercial real estate professionals about the advantages of locating in Alpharetta.
The Connected Alpharetta marketing strategy leverages digital storytelling, targeted content, and consistent messaging to elevate Alpharetta’s profile. By aligning branding, messaging, and distribution channels, the initiative ensures consistent, compelling communication that increases awareness of the city’s competitive advantages.
“Our City Council has prioritized marketing Alpharetta more comprehensively to showcase why we are such a desirable city to do business in,” said Mayor Jim Gilvin. “The Connected Alpharetta initiative puts that priority into action and better positions our community to compete for investment, talent, and opportunity.”
“Connected Alpharetta reflects what truly sets our city apart as a premier location for businesses,” said Charlie Jewell, Director of Economic Development. “This initiative helps us clearly and consistently communicate the City of Alpharetta’s advantages as a place where businesses can grow, talent can thrive, and community connections drive innovation and long-term success.”
